The nightmare before school starts

In exactly 2 days I am heading to DC for my last and final year of college. This only means one thing. PACKING. Now you'd think after 3 years I would have gotten the hang of it (you know, starting early and staying organized) but I have officially turned my house into a disaster zone (at the eleventh hour of course). My biggest concern is always my clothes and shoes. This year I decided to take all my clothes off their hangers, wash them and then fold them up to see just how much I'd be working with this year.

Before

After

The clothes took up the entire length of the hallway and that's not including the clothes I couldn't put into a color category (i.e. stripes, patterns, prints, etc). The only reason I color coordinate them this way is so that I can find things easier.

Can't wait until mom wakes up in the morning and sees that I opened a clothing store in the hallway. My goal is to get all of these clothes into one suitcase. Realistic? Probably not. But it's my only option considering the mess of stuff I haven't gotten to yet. It's gonna be a looong Sunday. Wish me luck.
